Korean giant Samsung will launch the WP10 waterproof point-and-shoot camera in South Korea. The camera is able to operate underwater for up to 3 meters. Measuring 93.8mm x 61.0mm x 18.5mm and weighing 121grams, the new Samsung WP10 has a 12.2MP CCD sensor with a 5x optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch LCD display, an ISO sensitivity from 80 to 3200, a 20MB of internal memory, an SD/ SDHC slot (up to 32GB) and a USB port. What makes this pocket camera more special is that it can also record 720p HD quality videos at 30fps (H.264 format). In addition, Samsung’s Smart Filter allows you to add some lens effect such as miniature filter, vignetting filter or fish-eye filter. The Rollei Sportsline 50 is an affordable waterproof compact digital camera that allows you to shoot down to 3 meters underwater. This 5MP camera has an 8x digital zoom, an SD memory card support, a 2.4-inch colour TFT-LCD display, and a fixed-focal-length lens. Powered by a couple of AA batteries, the Rollei Sportsline 50 can record underwater videos with up to 30 pictures per second in VGA mode.
