Samsung Europe announces the WB1000, a 24mm ultra wide angle, 5x optical zoom digital camera with a 3.0 inch AMOLED monitor. The AMOLED screen consumes less power and offers a higher contrast ratio of 10,000:1, producing darker black levels, more vibrant colors, and a brighter display which can easily be viewed outdoors, and even in direct sunlight. The digicam is also known as the WB100 or TL320 in the States. [dcviews]
Today Samsung introduced two brand new cameras, the Samsung HZ15W and TL320.
Samsung HZ15 is good for tele-shooting with its 10x zoom lens, 10.2 megapixels. The lens quality is very good, but the price is quite high at around $329.99.
The second compact is Samsung TL320 which is almost the same price as the first one, at $379,99. Targeted at the same market I think this compact is quite expensive, since it has only 5X zoom lens and 3 inch LCD. The only superior quality is the 12.2-megapixel sensor. [ Via digitalcamerainfo ]
