The Sigma SD15 has a Foveon sensor with 4.7×3 megapixels, a 3-inch rear screen with a resolution of 460,000 dots, a TRUE II processor, a large buffer that holds 21 RAW files and a 77-segment metering sensor. The camera’s shutter is rated for 100,000 actuations. The Sigma SD15 comes equipped with the company’s new Sigma Photo Pro 4.0 software, which features user-controlled noise sliders that allow for greater control over detail rendering in images taken at ISO 400 and higher, and special algorithms that were specifically developed for processing SD15 RAW files.
