Sanyo will release the new Sanyo Xacti VPC-PD2BK ultra-portable dual camera, which is capable of recording 1920×1080 30p videos or capture 10-megapixel still pictures. This candy-bar type camcorder also features a 3x optical zoom, a 37mm wide-angle lens, a couple of microphones that record stereo sound, a mini-HDMI port, a USB port and a memory card slot that supports SD, SDHC or ultra-high capacity SDXC (up to 64GB) memory cards. The Sanyo VPC-CA102YL Dual Camera Xacti is a waterproof Full HD digital video camera that can also take 14-megapixel still photos. This portable camcorder is small enough to be carried in a pocket, backpack, or purse. The camera uses a proprietary “double-range zoom” feature for zoom operation while filming video with a 12x zoom available from wide angle to telephoto for capturing distant objects (equivalent to 40mm to 480 mm zoom in a 35mm film camera). Sanyo has recently launched the slim and compact E1403 digital camera. It is an affordable 14-megapixel digital compact camera with a metal housing and HD video recording capabilities. Using this compact digicam, you can record HD quality video (1280×720 pixels) at a frame rate of 30fps. The Sanyo VPC-E1403 also has a 3-inch TFT LCD screen, an ISO sensitivity of up to 6400, an SD or SDHC card slot, a digital image stabilizer and a 3x optical zoom. The smile and blink recognition feature are included for perfect portraits. The camera recognizes smiling faces itself and takes the snap automatically, without you having to press the release. If someone blinks when the shutter closes, the photographer is alerted by the blink recognition and can take another shot. Sanyo has recently unveiled two new Xacti video cameras namely the DMX-CG100 and DMX-GH1. Both camcorders can record Full HD video with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and take still pictures with a 14-megapixel sensor. These video cameras also feature a 2.7-inch LCD screen, a 5x optical zoom, and a 50MB of internal memory, which is upgradable via a memory card (SD/SDHC cards up to 32B and SDXC cards up to 64GB). Sanyo has announced a new of Dual Camera Xacti cameras that feature high-definition video and photo capability in easy-to-use compact camera.
The new Sanyo Xactis cameras have an easy buttons which separate between video and photo buttons , and it’s waterproof also.
The new Sanyo dual function Xactis will begin arriving in stores in March 2009.
