Ricoh releases firmware update version 1.16 for the CX1 digital camera. The update incorporates following improvements:
1. Modified the following phenomena.
• If you take pictures with the M-Cont. Plus, a MP file may be recorded with missing a partial frame(s).
• In the Focus-Bracketing, a self-timer feature may not work properly.
2. Corrected a part of the information on a file in the MPO / JPEG format to comply with the Multi-Picture Format.

The Japanese site has tried the ISO quality of Ricoh CX1 and found the visible of chroma noise starting at ISO200. Check the samples here.

Ricoh releases firmware upddate for the Caplio GX100. The update modified the following phenomenon.
After switching from the Auto mode to a My setting mode, and then you get back the Auto mode again, the zoom position of the lens will always become at wide end.
