With the introduction of the Canon PowerShot SX1 IS in the US, Canon offered the option to shoot your images in RAW format too. As promised then, Canon today releases the firmware update for the owners of the SX1 IS without the RAW option.
Canon’s Powershot SX1 IS has not sold on US shores since launched, but after PMA we hope the best it will. This prosumer SX1 IS features with 10 megapixel CMOS sensor along with full HD 1080p video recording.
