pentax k white

The gear with white color looks clean and elegant, but should have more attention to it.
White as snow easy to get dirty, so if you have Pentax K2000 special edition, remember wash your hand before touch it.

Pentax K20D Getting Cheaper Now

October 18th, 2008 No comments

pentax k20d 300x235

Pentax k20d price was drop more than 16% to $833 (body only) and $941 with lens while living cost get expensive.

With this new price, Pentax k20d will compete directly with Canon 40D and Nikon D90. It is one of the first camera that introduce 14 megapixel for semi-pro class.

Pentax k20d produces very good image quality, has many features that might be helpful for professional use, but its auto focus speed in dim light and continuous burst speed are considered pretty slow (3 fps) relative to other cameras at the same price point.

There is no sign that Pentax will launch any new camera soon, especially full frame camera which is speculated earlier this year.

Pentax K20D DSLR

Bernard Dery is technical editor from digicamhelp.com is happy with the purchased for Pentax K20D DSLR.

The most important thing the camera fits what you need instead a good product.

For the photographic enthusiast, using a DSLR is a very rewarding experience, and a compact camera simply cannot compare in terms of performance, speed and the way you are connected with your scene.
On the other hand, using a DSLR is not quite as simple as using a compact. The main difference is that since you get much more control over depth of field, you also run a higher risk of missing focus if you’re not careful.
Most compacts usually give sharp focus across the entire frame, which can be annoying when you want to isolate a subject.  However, with some lenses a DSLR camera will give you a depth of field.

Pentax K-m ( K2000 In The US )

September 28th, 2008 No comments

pentaxk m 300x258Pentax k-m is for entry-level who want high-quality digital SLR photography with 10 megapixel, small sensor, it’s very light and ease to use. The price is $ 699.99.

Richard Butler & Lars rehm said ” For many years, Pentax was often in the position of offering the least-expensive DSLR on the market with some keenly-priced entry-level offerings. However, the latest generation of down-specced and aggressively-priced models from Nikon and Sony have dramatically changed the price-conscious end of the market. Pentax has clearly been watching these developments closely and has responded with this, the Pentax K-m.”
