Panasonic has proudly introduced the new Lumix FX80. This compact digital camera features a 3-inch touchscreen LCD display with touch autofocus. The 12.1-megapixel camera also provides a 24mm f2.5 wide angle lens, a 5x optical zoom and a variety of filter effects (Expressive, Retro, High Dynamic, Sepia, Dynamic Monochrome, High Key, Low Key, Miniature Effect, Toy Effect and Soft Focus).

The Panasonic Lumix FX80 also supports Full HD video recording. Too bad, there is no info on pricing or availability so far. More pictures after the jump.

Our friends in Japan will be able to buy the new Panasonic HDC-Z10000 3D camcorder. Panasonic will launch this 3D camcorder in that country. Designed for semi-professionals, the Panasonic HDC-Z10000 features a new lens with “nano surface coating,” a new “crystal engine PRO II,” and dual 3MOS sensors. As its name suggests, this high-end camcorder is able to capture high quality Full HD 3D images. Weighing 1600 grams, the Panasonic HDC-Z10000 also feature the industry’s shortest close-up range of approximately 45cm for 3D Macro shooting.

Panasonic has issued the firmware update version 2.0 for the Panasonic Lumix LX5 digital camera. The latest firmware enhances the camera’s performance such as:

1. Auto Focus speed-up.
2. [HIGH ISO NR] has been added to the [REC] menu.
3. Improved auto white balance performance.
4. [ACTIVE MODE] has been added to the [MOTION PICTURE] menu.
5. The AF/AE Lock operated by half-pressing the shutter button has been improved.
6. When [MF] is set, you can make fine adjustments to the focus using a simpler operation than before.
7. The position and size of the AF area you have set are now stored.
8. The upper limit of the shutter speed in Manual Exposure Mode has been raised. (Max 250 seconds approximately)
9. [MINIATURE EFFECT] has been added to My Colour Mode.
10. [MONITOR] / [VIEWFINDER] has been added to the [SETUP] menu.

Panasonic Japan has proudly introduced the world’s first camera phone with an optical image stabilization. Known as the Panasonic Lumix Phone P-05C, the gadget comes equipped with a multi-coated, bright f/2.8 wide-angle lens, Full HD video recording capabilities and DLNA support. The Panasonic Lumix Phone P-05C is now available in Japan via DoCoMo.

Here is good news for all Disney’s Mickey Mouse fans in Japan. Panasonic has announced the availability of the LUMIX DMC-FP7D Mickey Mouse digital camera in that country. The special edition digicam features Mickey Mouse graphics on the sliding lens door and has its user interface enhanced with Disney characters. Users also have the ability to add Disney character themed icons, phrases and fancy borders to spice up their photographs with.

The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FP7D comes jam packed with a 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD display, a 4x optical zoom, a 16.1-megapixel CCD sensor and an image stabilization feature. Other specs include an 84MB of internal memory, which is upgradeable via an SD card slot. The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FP7D Mickey Mouse digital camera will be launched on June 10th, 2011 for 30,000 Yen or around US$366. More pictures after the jump.

The new Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 is known as the company’s smallest and lightest interchangeable lens camera with a viewfinder. The camera features a 15.8-megapixel sensor, a fast auto-focus speed of up to 0.1 second, a 3-inch free-angle touchscreen LCD display, a total of 23 Auto Focus points, a 4fps continuous shooting and full HD 1920 x 1080 movies. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 has a dedicated button for recording video and changing to video recording without having to change modes. What’s more, the G3 also has an integrated flash and a hotshoe for connecting an optional camera flash unit. Other features of the camera include an eye-level electronic viewfinder with a high resolution 1.44m-dot image that covers 100% of the field of view. Available in black, white, red, white, and brown, the Lumix DMC-G3 will be available in June 11, 2011. A kit with the 14-42mm zoom lens will retail for US$699.99.
