Featuring a futuristic-design, Panasonic’s latest Lumix DMC-FP8 digital camera boasts a stylish flat body built of high-quality aluminum. This compact camera comes equipped with a 12.1-magapixel CCD sensor, a high-quality 28mm wide-angle lens with 4.6x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch TFT LCD display. Other advanced features include high-speed Auto Focus (AF), POWER Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.), Panasonic’s Intelligent Auto (iA) and HD movies (records dynamic HD movies in 1280 x 720 resolution at 30fps) with VIERA Link Networking. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS7 has been released in Europe in early 2009. The camera is now available in the Japanese market. Available in four colors including Silver, Blue, Pink and Green, the camera features 10MP CMOS sensor with a 4x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch wide view LCD. It is also able to record VGA video at 30fps. Firmware version 1.1 includes improvement of the auto focus performance in AFc mode for taking photos. It also enhances performance of auto focusing and stability of O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) while reducing noise of aperture control for taking movies when mounted on the DMC-GH1 camera.
