On the stage of PMA 2009, Panasonic launched the LUMIX GH1 which has HD movie. What Digital Camera editor Nigel Atherton headed over to the Panasonic stand to find out what it’s hot, to know what he would ask, and what the good things from the gear, just check the movie.
Last year Panasonic made debut with their Four Thirds camera G1, and today they launch the Micro Four Thirds camera system LUMIX DMC-GH1, It’s focused on 1080p video which can record the HD quality movie, and for the original it comes with the new kit 14-140mm. The camera has 12.1-megapixel, image stabilization, and the weighs approximately 13.58 oz. (385g).
The video can be recorded in two high-def formats: 1920 x 1080 at 24 frames per second, or 1280 x 720 at 60 frames per second. Both modes record in AVCHD format (MPEG4/H.264), which doubles recording time compared to Motion JPEG-format recordings, according to Panasonic. [ Via letsgodigital ]
