Nikon has introduced a new F1.8, 35 mm AF-S DX lens.
This is the fastest DX-format lens on the market, and it’s also the widest AF-S which tagged for $200.

SLR Gear reviewed the Panasonic 14-45mm ƒ/3.5-5.6 OIS lens that also ships with the G1 as its kit lens. On testing the lens, the reviewer found the images to be sharp especially in wide-angle settings. The lens did produce some negligible chromatic aberration and the reviewer also noticed a small amount of barrel distortion at all focal lengths.

At the same time with announcement of Olympus DSLR E-30, Olympus announces the ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-54mm f2.8-3.5 II Four Thirds System lens.
These lens boast a high-speed image auto focus and AF live View Shooting, and it has good contrast as clean as real, sharp picture imaging, and has excellent close-up shooting capabilities.
Even without image stabilization, I hope this bright new lens can suitable with Four Thirds System lovers.
