The Samsung NX100 is the latest mirrorless camera that comes equipped with the world’s first i-Function lens. The intuitive i-Function button on the lens allows beginners and expert photographers to control the NX100 by scrolling through manual settings (shutter speed, aperture, EV, WB, and ISO) and using the focus ring to change parameters for each setting. This camera also boasts a lens priority mode, selecting scene options optimized for the lens being used. The Samsung NX100 features a 14.6-megapixel APS-C size sensor with a dust reduction system, a 3-inch AMOLED display, up to ISO 6400, a 720p HD video recording and a range of smart filters. Canon Powershot SX30 IS – The World’s First Camera With a 35x Zoom Lens

The Canon Powershot SX30 IS is known as the world’s first camera with a 35x zoom lens. The 14-megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera comes equipped with a 24-840mm equivalent lens with optical image stabilization, a 2.7-inch Vari-angle LCD, a 14.1-megapixels sensor, High Dynamic Range, Zoom Framing Assist, a full manual control, an HD movie recording and a flash hot shoe. The lens construction comprises multiple special lens elements including an Ultra-low Dispersion (UD) element as well as a Hi-UD element, compensating for light aberrations while maintaining high image quality across the entire zoom range. The PowerShot SX30 IS also supports 720p HD movie capture with stereo sound and full optical zoom, allowing photographers to switch from stills to movies at the touch of a button. Focus and exposure can be locked or adjusted during movie recording, while a special Dynamic IS mode reduces the camera shake created when filming and moving at the same time, producing a more realistic, steadier picture. Olympus E-P2 Special Black Editions

Olympus today announced the availability of the limited-edition E-P2 kits. The Olympus E-P2 Special Black EVF Edition consists of a black E-P2 body, a matching black Olympus 17mm f/2.8 pancake lens and a VF-2 add-on electronic viewfinder, while the Olympus E-P2 Special Black Flash Edition comprises a black FL-14 external flash alongside the black E-P2 body and black Olympus 17mm f/2.8 pancake lens. Both camera kits feature retro styled lens caps imprinted with the original Olympus PEN F logo in silver. The Olympus E-P2 Special Black EVF Edition and the Olympus E-P2 Special Black Flash Edition will be launched in October 2010 for €1079 ($1,380) and €1049 ($1,342), respectively. Canon EOS 60D DSLR Camera With The iFCL Metering System

Canon has recently introduced the new Canon EOS 60D DSLR camera as a replacement for the Canon EOS 50D. This camera boasts a 3-inch vari-angle LCD (1,040,000 dots) monitor for easy low- or high-angle viewing, an improved APS-C sized 18.0-megapixel CMOS sensor for tremendous images and Full High Definition (HD) video, a new DIGIC 4 Image Processor for finer detail and excellent color reproduction, and improved ISO capabilities from 100 – 6400 (expandable to 12800) for uncompromised shooting even in the dimmest situations. There is also an HDMI output for viewing images or videos on an HDTV. Additional features include a 9-point (all cross-type) AutoFocus AF system and the Canon’s iFCL metering system with a 63-zone Dual-Layer sensor. An Integrated Speedlite Transmitter also provides in-camera control of multiple EX flash units for more creative lighting.
