The BenQ AC100 is a compact digital camera with a 14-megapixel, 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor, a 2.7-inch 230k pixels LCD display, a wide-angle large-aperture lens and a 4x optical zoom. The camera automatically detects 12 different scenes, so you will always capture the best quality picture. Other specs include a USB 2.0 port, a 720p movie recording, a memory card slot, a Super Macro mode (5cm), up to ISO 3200, Fisheye and HDR. This super zoom camera features a superb 21x optical zoom, which is combined with Sony’s 16-megapixel back-illuminated BSI CMOS image sensor and the Handheld Night Shot Mode, so you can capture high-quality pictures in low light environment.

The BenQ GH700 is able to record 1080p Full HD recording with stereo sound and adopts the HDR III Image Enhancement Technology. Do you still remember the Pentax Special Robot Edition K-r DSLR that we posted back in December 2010? This limited edition DSLR camera comes in a bright, multi-colored body and a robotic head that fits into the flash hotshoe. Pentax USA and Walmart will launch the new Pentax K-r in limited edition colors such as pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, navy, metallic brown, gold and silver. My favorite is the silver model.

Fujifilm has unveiled more details about the upcoming X-S1. The digital camera comes jam packed with a 2/3″-type 12-megapixel EXR CMOS sensor with a 24-624mm equivalent Fujinon zoom lens (a 26x optical zoom lens) and a high speed EXR processor. What’s more, the camera also features a tiltable LCD display, manual exposure controls and RAW image capture. Fujifilm will launch the X-S1 in February 2012 in the UK for £699 or around US$1,087. Here’s the good news for all Canon EOS 5D Mark II owners. Canon has rolled out the new firmware update for this full-frame digital SLR camera. The new firmware update version 2.1.1 includes the following fixes and improvements:
1. Fixes a phenomenon where shooting stops after capturing one image when in continuous shooting or the Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB) continuous shooting setting.
2. Corrects wording in the Dutch language menu screen.
