Korean giant Samsung has unveiled the new MV900F MultiView Smart Camera. Designed for social media freaks, the compact digital camera supports WiFi connectivity, allowing you to easily share your favorite pictures to social networks or save them to cloud services. You can also send your pictures via e-mails for your friends.

Measuring 98.5mm x 59.9mm x 17.2mm and weighing 132 grams (without battery), the Samsung MV900F also offers a 3.3-inch 180 degree Flip-out display, allowing you to easily capture self-portraits from any angle.

The compact digital camera features a 16.3-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and a stabilized 25-125mm equivalent f/2.5-6.3 lens. What’s more, it is also able to record 1920×1080 Full HD videos at 30fps. Rollei today introduced a new mamber from its Powerflex line-up. Dubbed as the Rollei Powerflex 800, it is an ultra-light compact camera with a 12.5x optical zoom lens (24-300mm in 35mm format), which is combined with a high-quality 14-megapixel Sony image sensor and a large 2.7-inch colour display with 230.000 resolution.

Measuring 102.9mm x 58.7mm x 21.1mm, the camera supports a super macro mode for short distances from 1-30cm, 22 different shooting modes, a 720p HD video mode and a night-photography mode with which is perfect for taking pictures in low light environment. Amazon has started taking pre-orders for the GPS-equipped Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX200V. As part of Sony’s “H Series” cameras, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX200V features an 18.2-megapixel “Exmor R” CMOS sensor, which is combined with a superb 30x optical zoom lens (27-810mm equivalent in 35mm format), an embedded GPS functionality, a 3.0-inch tilting LCD display, a Full HD Movie Shooting capability (1920×1080/60p) and the Optical SteadyShot Active Mode (3-way shake cancelling). The camera also adopts the “Extra High Sensitivity” technology that enhances low-light shooting capabilities. Priced at $419.99 each, the Cyber-shot DSC-HX30V is equipped with an advanced 18.2-megapixel sensor and the BIONZ processor that enables the camera to record 2D/ 3D still photos and Full HD 1080/60p videos. This compact digital camera offers a powerful 20x optical zoom lens with a 3-way stabilization for movies, a 3.0-inch LCD panel with high 921,600 dot resolution (around 640 x 480 pixels), Wi-Fi, GPS for geotagging and Intelligent Scene Recognition (iSCN) mode that automatically detects 33 different types of scenes for photos and 44 scenes for videos. Panasonic has proudly introduced the new Lumix FX80. This compact digital camera features a 3-inch touchscreen LCD display with touch autofocus. The 12.1-megapixel camera also provides a 24mm f2.5 wide angle lens, a 5x optical zoom and a variety of filter effects (Expressive, Retro, High Dynamic, Sepia, Dynamic Monochrome, High Key, Low Key, Miniature Effect, Toy Effect and Soft Focus).

Polaroid has unveiled the new SC1630 Android HD Camera at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Central Hall (booth #13613) from January 10 – 13, 2012. Known as the world’s first Android-powered digital camera, the Polaroid SC1630 Android HD Camera features a 16-megapixel CCD sensor with a 3x optical zoom lens, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, Wi-Fi capabilities, face and smile detection, geo-tagging, a micro SD card (up to 32GB), one button upload to popular social media networks and in camera photo editing. The camera runs on the Google Android 2.3.4 operating system. Available in grey, red, blue, pink and yellow, the Polaroid SC1630 Android HD Camera will be launched in April 2012 for US$299.99.
