This new phone model, Casio Exilim W63CA has impressive 8.1MP, with a 480 x 800 pixels resolution 3.1-inch OLED screen. That means the display has 26 million colors and 384,000 pixels. The camera itself has a nine point autofocus function, face detection, backlight correction, anti-shake, 10.2 X digital zoom, and a mode that records VGA clips up to 30 frames per second that’s optimal for uploading to YouTube. It’s a pretty good for digital compact.
Anyway it’s great as cell phones also,this flip phone can sync up with au BOX and Lismo Video (which lets you download full movies onto your handset)?
Casio now point to the kids market, after the EXILIM EX-Z80, with our favorite Hello Kitty, here comes another design for kids( i think ) with a Doraemon design, an 8.1MP, 3x optical zoom, 12.4MB of internal memory, a 2.6-Inch LCD monitor, MMC/SD/SDHC slot, and a face detection function. It records video in resolution 848×480. These features is not to bad for kids.
If you thought compact cameras were just for snapshots, it’s time to think again, think about the resolution, zoom lens, LCD size, viewfinder, image stabilisation, and iso range.

I’ve been reading about the New Casio, at Dcviews, it’s good DSLR with with 9.10 million pixels, it has 20x Optical Zoom (strongest telephoto range) and a high rate of shooting in both photo and video with resolution 1280 x 720 (30 fps). The camera which announced last September has 4 times digital zoom also, include image stabilization, and auto focus. Market price is around $1.200.
Less than a month Casio released firmware update for it to improve the performance for memory card storage when shooting movies.
