The Sigma Corporation has proudly released the new Sigma APO 50-500mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM in the UK market. Available in Sigma, Canon and Nikon fittings, the Sigma 50-500mm f5-6.3 DG OS HSM is a 10x high zoom ratio ultra telephoto zoom lens incorporating Sigma’s original Optical Stabiliser function. This lens covers a wide range of focal lengths from 50mm to 500mm ultra telephoto. The OS (Optical Stabilizer) function provides the use of shutter speeds approximately 4 stops slower than would otherwise be possible. The Sigma 50-500mm f5-6.3 DG OS HSM has a suggested retail price of £1399.99 ($2,151). The Pentax and Sony versions will be available in the near future. [ePHOTOZine]
