Panasonic and Canon at The Same Battlefield
Panasonic and Canon start a new battle at PIE ( Photo Imaging Expo ) in Japan, they both unveiled new products on Wednesday, which launch on April 2009, and both are fighting on HD-Video market.
Panasonic‘s Lumix DMC-GH1K ( “K” to indicate the black body color ) also features full-time autofocus, a world first for an interchangeable-lens digital camera capable of recording video. It will likely sell for around $1,539, including one lens.
Canon’s EOS Kiss X3 is an entry-level DSLR that enables users to record video in full HD, whose resolution comes to 1,920 x 1,080 with 15.1-megapixel resolutions and it will sell around $1,026 with one lens also. [ Source tradingmarkets ]
