Nikon Coolpix S8100 Released In Europe And South Africa
Nikon will release the Nikon Coolpix S8100 in Europe and South Africa very soon. Introduced in the US in September 2010, the 12-megapixel Nikon Coolpix S8100 supports a 10x optical zoom and can capture photos at up to 10 frames per second. The camera also has a back-illuminated CMOS sensor and a 30-300mm equivalent zoom lens that can be used even while recording 1080p Full HD videos. What’s more, the Nikon Coolpix S8100 supports in-camera HDR imaging and advanced Night Landscape mode. An in-camera high dynamic range (HDR) function merges images of the same scene to achieve a single image with a broad range of tonal detail for a frame-worthy shot, while an advanced Night Landscape mode combines a series of five consecutive shots taken at a fast shutter speed into a single image with reduced noise for when taking handheld shots.
