BenQ has announced the availability of the S1420 compact digital camera for the European market. This 14-megapixel camera is stylishly encased in a vibrant orange-colored metallic casing. The new BenQ S1420 offers the O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) feature, which is known as the most powerful anti-shake technology so far. This unique feature works automatically and compensates for unintended camera movements or slow shutter speeds to deliver crisply rendered, sharp and crystal clear images which without might ruin an otherwise perfect shot. Additionally, the BenQ S1420 comes equipped with a 26mm wide-angle lens with a 5x optical zoom, 720p HD movie recording capabilities and a full range of creative shooting modes which includes “LOMO”, “Fisheye” as well as “Color accent”. BenQ is ready to launch a new portable Full HD camcorder, the BenQ M31. This pocket-sized video camera incorporates smart features such as the Touch AF Lock and Face Exposure Tracking to record the faces of your family and friends or any subject in perfect focus. This HD camcorder also features a 10x true optical zoom with an advanced Electronic Image Stabilizer (E.I.S.) with GYRO-sensor, which compensates shaky hands and minimize blurs, tracking even the slightest movements enabling the E.I.S. to automatically compensate and delivery steady videos and crisply rendered images. Additional specs include a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, a 10-megapixel sensor and the time lapse recording mode, allowing you to capture long events slowly being unfolded such as a flower bloom, a rainstorm approach or an evolution of a construction project. Available in “Slick Grey” with a shade of blue and “Exotic Red”, the BenQ M31 Full HD camcorder will be available in China in January 2011, and Asia Pacific and Latin America in February 2011. The BenQ DV S11 is not an ordinary camcorder, because it comes equipped with a built-in pico projector. The video recorder features a 5-megapixel 1/3.2-inch CMOS sensor, which allows it to capture 1080p videos, a 3.5-inch LCD screen and an SD/SDHC card slot for storage. The BenQ DV S11 measures 108mm x 55mm x 16mm and weights 110 grams (without battery and SD card). Other specs include USB 2.0, RCA and HDMI ports. [Akihabara]

As part of the S series digital camera lineup, the BenQ S1410 features a 14-megapixel sensor, 1/2.33-inch CCD sensor, a 5x optical zoom lens, a 5cm Super Macro focus and a 26mm Wide-Angle lens with O.I.S (Optical Image Stabilizer) feature. For your info, the O.I.S (Optical Image Stabilizer) is the most powerful technology for anti-shake that prevents blur on shots. The new BenQ S21 is now your ordinary camcorder because it comes equipped with an infrared night vision and a motion detection features. This video recorder also supports a 3-inch LCD camcorder with a touchscreen navigation, a Full HD 1080p video and a 16MP (albeit interpolated) still images. The camera comes with a dual power source (lithium-ion battery and ordinary AA batteries), and the dual SD card slots double the storage capacity allowing you to use another SD card in the second slot whenever the first SD card is full.
