Canon Powershot S95 With The HS System

Canon has launched the PowerShot S95 compact digicam as a successor to the Powershot S90. The new model supports the HS System, which is a combination of a high-sensitivity 10.0-megapixel CCD sensor and a powerful DIGIC 4 processing, which provide exceptional low light performance even better than that of its predecessor. The HS System enables the camera to support a maximum ISO of 3200 at full resolution and works to reduce the occurrence of noise at all ISO speeds for high quality images. The PowerShot S95 also features a new high dynamic range (HDR) mode, a 720p video recording, a mini HDMI port, the control ring, a 28-105mm F2.0-4.9 stabilized lens and a 3.0-inch LCD display. What’s more, the Hybrid IS technology provides improved image stabilization for macro photography. The Canon PowerShot S95 is available from August 2010 for €479 (£399 or $608) inc. VAT.
