The Canon IXUS 300 HS is also known as the Canon SD4000 IS Digital ELPH in North America. Available in black and silver, this compact digital camera features a 10-megapixel CMOS sensor, a 28 – 106mm equivalent f/2.0-5.3 lens with image stabilization, semi-manual exposure modes and a 720p HD movie recording with Stereo sound. The Canon IXUS 300 HS captures 10-megapixel photos at up to 3.7fps and 2.5-megapixel photos at up to 8.4fps. The Canon IXUS 300 HS also adopts a 3-inch PureColor II G LCD screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. What makes the Canon IXUS 300 HS more interesting is that it has the optical image stabilizer to reduce camera shake in video footage.
